I always knew I wanted to be a musician. At age 3, I’d try to play Sunday school songs on the piano by ear. I started formal lessons at age 7 and added a few more instruments along the way. Music was an enormous part of my childhood and adolescent years, and I wanted to keep doing it for the rest of my life.
The pandemic was a catalyst for my creativity, and I found myself desperate for ways to make music both for other people and with other people. I ended up releasing 3 albums in the span of 8 months, while also finding a supportive community of musicians eager to collaborate on social media.
I love making music in many different ways - teaching students at my home piano studio; composing on my 1896 upright piano; accompanying young band, choir & orchestra students; taking rapid-fire requests on tiktok livestreams; and, of course, taking part in the joy of weddings.
